Altaytara resumes supplies of packaging for PepsiCo
Altaytara resumes supplies of packaging for PepsiCo plants, said the governor of Alatay region Alexander Karlin at a meeting of the “Union of Industrialists”, which took place on January 27 at the base of AZPI.
To resume supplies Barnaul’s plant had to pass a special BRC certification, told head of Altaytara company Andrey Lazarev to Altapress.
PepsiCo demanded from suppliers BRC certificate, which confirms the compliance of the legal requirements of food vendors and manufacturers. Two years ago Altaytara didn’t have such certification. Resuming of cooperation became able in summer 2016. According to Andrey Lazarev now, PepsiCo has become one of the major clients of the company. Every month, it takes more than 500 thousand boxes totaling more than 5,7 million rubles. The partners plan to increase turnover. Both sides have reserves for this.
Earlier Unipack.Ru reported that this year Altaytara will increase production by 20%. The company plans related to development of the contract with PepsiCo, as well as a range of other new strategic partners. For example, Novosibirsk greenhouse complex Mars and dairy products producer Skomoroshka, as well as the new opportunity to deliver products to other regions.
