Arkhbum’ s Istra branch plans to increase its capacity by the end of 2018
Preparative building and assembly work on installation of 3 colour flexo printing machine BOBST Flexo 160-EXPERTCUT at Arkhbum’ s Istra branch comes to finish. In May 2017 commissioning of the line will be started that will allow the Istra’s branch to increase capacity of the flat die-cutting sector and to create a greater variety of products, – told at the company.
The second transporting and packaging line Ducker/SIGNODE (Germany) will be installed in February 2017 that will eliminate the shortage of such capacity at existing and increasing production volume of the corrugated plant.
New automatic machine BOXMAKER-820FFG for corrugated boxes production will come to the factory in August 2017. It will allow to increase processing capacity to 18-20 million m2 per month.
All these events take place in the first step of the technical equipping of the plant in the Istra district of Moscow region, – told Irina Galakhova, Executive Director of the Arkhbum Corrugated department.
In preparation for the second step of the plant modernization in the period up to September 2017 is planned to build an additional warehouse of finished products, as well as the installation of five-tier shelf storage. And two times increase in its capacity as a result.
Over the next year Arkhbum’s Istra branch plans to equip the production facility with another BHS machine and processing lines with a production capacity of 18 million m² per month, full-color printing line and flat die-cutter. This will allow not only to refit lines for the large packaging production (Samsung for example), but also to expand the variety of products, and meet the needs of manufacturers of large household appliances and electronics.
“Commissioning of the second step of the Arkhbum’s Istra branch will allow us to increase productivity of corrugated products plant to 40 million m2 per month – Irina Galakhova said. – But the most important is to strength our main advantage – customer-oriented through the production of the entire spectrum of the product range”.
