Bellesbumprom increased its capacity
In the first half of 2017 Bellesbumprom increased its capacity to produce waste paper and cardboard up to 64.3%.
Bellesbumprom’s enterprises increased their capacity utilization from 55.3% to 64.3% in the first half of this year due to the restriction of Belarusian exports of waste paper, the press service of the concern said.
This allowed additional production for $ 5 million and exports of goods worth $ 5.8 million. Restrictive measures for the export of regenerated paper or paperboard (waste paper and waste) outside the common customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union are applied by the Republic of Belarus since May 2016.
In January-July of this year 118,600 tons of waste paper or 64.3% of their demand for this period were delivered to the enterprises of the concern. According to the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Belarus, during the seven months of 2017, 181,700 ton waste paper and cardboard were actually collected in the republic, which must fully meet the needs of processing enterprises.
