New production in the Urals
According to the information policy department of the Sverdlovsk region in Yekaterinburg, it is planned to build an enterprise for production of corrugated board packaging on the territory of the Yekad-Yuzhny industrial park. Under this project investors will allocate about 300 million rubles. In the near future, design works will start.
According to the project, a building of about 8 thousand square meters, an administrative complex and canopies for storage of materials on an area of 4-5 thousand square meters will be built.
It is Middle Urals Development Corporation (MUDC) that provides the conditions for the implementation of this project, and the Prominvest company, a large corrugated boxes manufacturer, operating in the corrugated packaging production market for food and industrial products for more than 10 years, that implements the project.
“The MUDS promotes the development of this industrial zone in the concept of an industrial park and highly estimates the investment potential of the site. The plot is well located. Technical conditions have already been obtained and work is underway to bring the engineering networks up, “the department quotes the words of Sergei Kiselev, director of the MUDS.
The department explained that 200 hectares of industrial land of Yekad-Yuzhny are located within the boundaries of Chkalovsky district of Yekaterinburg near the perspective section of the Yekaterinburg ring road that will connect the Yekaterinburg-Polevskoy highway with the M-5 Ural highway.
According to the estimations of the MUDS, the packaging products today are among the most popular on the world and domestic markets.
