Alliance installed its first eSBF prefeeder in Russia

Alliance Machine Systems Europe, based in the Netherlands, has recently installed its first eSBF prefeeder at Pavlovo Posadsky Gofrokombinat.

The Pavlovo-Posadsky corrugated plant has been successfully operating in the Russian packaging business market since 1995. The company has modern production equipment to produce corrugated cardboard and for its processing into corrugated packaging.

Alliance has installed this fully automatic prefeeder 3200 x1700 mm on a Ward G-Grafix 16000 RDC from BW Papersystems. The G-Grafix rotary die cutter provides superior sheet control for all calipers and grades of board including single, double, triple wall and warped board that can be problematic on other die cutters. The eSBF is a machine that feeds a converting machine with a controlled stream of board. It will increase the efficiency and speed of a line, allow for inspection for individual boards and reduces the amount of misfeeds due to a sheet by sheet filling of the hopper. This feeder makes it possible to run without operator and achieve high productivity. Feeding large sheets up to 3175 x1676 mm is for the feeder totally no problem. The eSBF can be adapted to various sizes of converting machines and can handle various fluting. The eSBF is an automatic prefeeder suited to feed bottom-printing and top-printing machines. It receives each time 1 stack, with or without pallet, from a floor conveyor. The eSBF can be built in different sizes, depending on the converting machine. (Size: 2100 x 1400 mm, 2800 x 1400/1700 mm, 3200 x 1700 mm). This prefeeder will be followed by 4 more installations.
