Altair VEGA line launched at the Voronezh branch of Arkhbum JSC
At the Voronezh site of Arkhbum JSC (part of Pulp Mill Holding), automatic folder-gluing line Altair Vega 160GL (Italy) was launched.
Vega Altair designed for the manufacture of a 4-valve box of small sizes, a prefabricated box with bottom lock, double-walled boxes and 4/6 corner boxes at a speed of 20-200 m/min. Strapping machines Mosca (Germany), which are included in the line, are intended for installation in a single line with folding and gluing equipment for comprehensively leveling the bale and strapping.
This year at the beginning of March, plant will launch an automatic flatbed die cutting line with 3-color printing.
The flatbed die cutting line with 3-color printing line is an entire chain of equipment that consists of a 3-color Celmacch press (Italy), ASAHI flatbed die press (Japan), a feed system, sheet separation and auxiliary equipment WSA (South Korea )
New equipment allows to produce RRP-boxes of any complexity by flatbed die cutting with high-quality multicolor printing. The advantages of the line are accurate color reproduction, high automation and productivity (up to 7 thousand sheets per hour), online color matching control.
In March, the WSA transport system with COFAS (Corrugated Factory Automation System) software will also be installed. Such corrugated production system will ensure the creation of a fully automatic transport system with the function of recognizing different orders. This will reduce the amount of waste during transportation, as well as remove the speed limit of working machines. It is used to create a unique route for each pack when transporting corrugated cardboard from a corrugator or warehouse to printing lines or in any other directions, depending on the technical task.
The total investment in equipment amounted to 6.7 million euros.
As noted in JSC Arkhbum, the installation of additional processing lines at Voronezh site will expand the range and improve the quality of finished products. And the completion of the full automation of the transport system will reduce transportation losses and increase production efficiency.
