Archbum, Podolsk branch going to launch second BOBST MASTERLINE HD
Mantling work on the installation of the second production line BOBST MASTERLINE HD is underway at the Podolsk branch of Archbum JSC. The total cost of equipment and work is 430 million rubles (approx. 5,59 million USD).
According to Bobst CIS specialists, the second line has a more complex configuration compared to the one that was launched at the production site in September 2019. The know-how of a new unit includes equipping the machine with an additional IQ300 quality control system, installation of a die-cutting system combining die-cutting and printing, which, reading printed stamps, aligns and accurately positioning each sheet of corrugated cardboard before die-cut.
Completing units of the line includes automatic feeder Loader AF, flexo-printing press with three Masterflex-HD printing sections, automatic die-cutting press Mastercut 2.1 and blanc separator Breaker.
Maximum productivity - 7 thousand sheets / hour.
The machine works with sheets up to 2100 mm wide and up to 9 mm thick.
Automatic feeding system ensures accurate transportation of corrugated cardboard sheets, which eliminates their damage.
Due to Start & Go system, the machine is setting up with the click of a one button. Control of print quality in the process allows minimize the percentage of rejects, and automation of changing anilox rolls and register settings reduces the time needed for order change.
Automatic blank separator Breaker eliminates the need to process packs and separates sheets with a minimum size of 200x200 mm.
The head of the Podolsk branch of Archbum JSC Konstantin Borumbey noticed that start-up of the second machine will allow company not only to increase the volume of finished products, but also significantly improve customer service.
As previously reported, after ending of modernization in 2021, the Podolsk branch of Arkhbum JSC will be able to produce up to 17 million m2 of finished products per month.
