BESTORE saved 9 million cost in carton for the last 10 months
The 12th China Green Food Expo was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, from December 20 to 23. Zhao Gang, vice president of BESTORE, specially shared the strategy of high-end snacks and how to build a green supply chain in the field of snacks.
83 products package upgrading to paper material
Since 2019, BESTORE has been upgrading the packaging of 83 products in the three categories of nuts, preserved plum and seafood, replacing the previous plastic packaging with paper-plastic packaging to support the construction of green supply chain.
Over the years, based on the four core elements of material performance, structural modeling, printing technology and environmental protection, BESTORE has developed 15 packaging groups in 13 categories. BESOTRE keeps on updating the packaging system, building the largest and most complete profile system of full-quality packaging in the snack industry, and constantly designing and developing various innovative packaging to provide consumers with immersive eating experience.
“Green model”in reuse carton
In January this year, BESTORE launched a project of logistics carton reuse , which has saved 9 million yuan by November this year.
BESTORE has more than 300 suppliers, each of which has its own carton. Commodity cartons lack use value, only as waste or being dismantled,no environmental protection. Due to the various carton size, the pallets cannot be rational used and storage capacity is seriously wasted.
In this regard, BESTORE has set up a project of secondary utilization of carton, focusing on internal and external resources with guiding by brand strategy, and integrating various links such as supply chain, brand and channel to establishing carton quality control standards, so to unify commodity packaging of all suppliers. In this way, all the commodity cartons can be used as express boxes again.
