BOBST for Naberezhnochelninskiy KBK

Naberezhnochelninskiy KBK and Swiss company BOBST signed a contract for supply of the flexo printing press MASTERFLEX-HD 2.1 and the flat-bad diecutter MASTERCUT 2.1. According to experts, this is a premium class equipment for corrugated production.

After signing the contract in Moscow office of BOBST, the plant’s general director Andrei Fomichev said: “Thanks to the new equipment, we will replace the offset printing method with flexo printing at corrugated production. Next, we can meet the needs of the Chinese company Haier for the production of packaging for household appliances. The third plus is expanding our product range”.

Today, Naberezhnochelninskiy KBK is among the five largest corrugated packaging manufacturers in Russia with capacity of 330 million tons per year. At the same time, unlike other leading enterprises, the plant produces corrugated products only at one production site.

Delivery of flexo printing press MASTERFLEX-HD 2.1 is scheduled for March 2020. The productivity of the new equipment is 10 thousand sheets per hour with full-color complex printing. The delivery time of flat-bad diecutter MASTERCUT 2.1 is July 2020.
