In Istra branch of Arkhbum JSC was launched the second BHS corrugator

Arkhbum JSC continues the investment project "Istra-2". According to Sergey Shulgan, the Chief Technology Officer of the company, the second corrugator BHS (3 layers, Germany) and the Ducker transport system (Germany) were successfully launched in the second production facility of the site.

The total cost of the investment project is estimated at 3 billion rubles, about 1.5 billion rubles of which was spent for equipment, including auxiliaries.

Arkhbum JSC plans to commission a new plant in the Istra branch at the end of 2020.

The overall target of this asset rebuild was to increase its production capacity to 400 million m² per year.

The capacity of Arkhbum JSC, taking into account the existing facilities and Ulyanovsk site under construction, will be up to 1.0 billion m² per year.

Currently, two sites of the Istra branch can produce up to 400 million m² of corrugated packaging per year (BHS (5 layers and 3 layers) corrugators), Podolsk branch - about 180 million m² (BHS corrugator (5 layers)), Voronezh branch - up to 200 million m² (Fosber corrugator (5 layers) and the Ulyanovsk site - up to 200 million m² (BHS corrugator (5 layers)).
