Large-scale investment project at Kamenskaya BKF

In the wings of SPIEF’2019 (St. Petersburg International Economic Forum) Governor Igor Rudenya and Chairman-Supervisory Board of the SFT Group Anatoly Steinberg discussed a large-scale investment project to expand production capacity of Kamenskaya Paper and Board Mill.

The investment project for expansion of production has been implemented at the JSC Kamenskaya BKF in Tver region since 2016. Each year the factory produces 190 million m² of corrugated cardboard and packaging, as well as 210 tons of raw materials for the production of corrugated board.

Currently, as part of the project for expansion capacity, in plans building of an energy center with the joint production of heat and electricity, which will increase production of cardboard and paper to 300 thousand tons and create an additional 300 jobs. The volume of investments is 4 billion rubles.

At the meeting also discussed the need for a project to develop road infrastructure and gas supply.
