Molded packaging line was launched at Kyiv CPM
One of the largest packaging manufacturers in Ukraine has mastered one more area of ecological packaging.
So, at the end of 2021, the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill completed the installation and testing of a new line for production of molded packaging. In particular, at the beginning of 2022, it is already actively supplying the market with molded egg trays in format of 30 pcs. Also in process of testing is the second line - for egg packaging in format of 10 pcs.
“A customer-centric approach is very important to us. And thanks to the launch of a new direction, we will be able to offer a complex packaging solution for egg producers - both molded packaging and high-quality corrugated boxes, which are traditionally in great demand in this segment, - said Alexey Katyshev, Commercial Director of Cardboard and Packaging at Kyiv CPM. - We think this is our competitive advantage.”
The installation of two lines for molded packaging for eggs is only the first stage of a large-scale project to develop this area. “In addition, we plan to cover the needs of our customers in various segments of the fruit and vegetable business - to produce molded packaging for apples, berries, etc. This will allow Ukrainian producers-exporters of fruits and berries to have a better presence on the world market” - added Oleksiy Katyshev.
