Results of the Ukrainian Paper Industry for 2021

The volume of industrial production of paper and cardboard in Ukraine in 2021 showed an increase of 9.8% compared to last year and amounted to 109.8%. Containerboard production, including fluting, also grew by 7.9%, while boxboard production grew significantly by 25%. If we compare December 2021 with November 2021, the volume of production of paper and cardboard increased by 2.5% and amounted to 78.37 thousand tons, this is stated in the message of the Ukrpapir association received by Corrugated Industry magazine.

The production of tissue paper for 12 months of 2021 remained at the same level compared to the same period last year. The output of corrugated cardboard boxes for the whole of 2021 showed a slight increase compared to the previous year (+5.9%) and amounted to 752.8 million m². Compared to November 2021, in December 2021 the production of corrugated cardboard boxes showed a slight decrease of 3.4%. Toilet paper production down 2.9% in 2021
