Results of the Ukrainian Paper Industry for the first month 2022

The volume of industrial production of paper and cardboard in Ukraine for the first month of 2022 showed a slight decline compared to the same period last year and amounted to 95.4%. The production of containerboard, including fluting, also fell slightly - by 8.8%, but the production of boxboard just fell more significantly compared to last year - by 12.9%. If we compare January 2022 with December 2021, then the volume of production of paper and cardboard decreased by 18.4% and amounted to 64 thousand tons, this is stated in the message of the UkrPapir association received by Corrugated Industry.

The production of tissue paper in the first month of 2022 increased by 2.5% compared to the same period last year. The output of corrugated cardboard boxes and boxes in January 2022 increased by 3.5% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 48 million m². Compared to December 2021, in January 2022, the production of corrugated cardboard boxes and crates decreased by 25.2%. Toilet paper production in the first month of 2022 decreased by 8.5% compared to the same period last year.
