SFT Group will construct second corrugated packaging plant in Adygea
The SFT Group intends to build a second corrugated packaging plant on the territory of Yablonovsky industrial park in the Takhtamukaysky district of Adygea by 2025. The first enterprise of the company - LLC Kartontara, established in 1991, is now one of the leading at the south of Russia in production of packaging and paper products, press service of the head of Adygea informed after the meeting held by Murat Kumpilov with representatives of the SFT Group.
“The development strategy of the SFT Group up to 2030 means construction of a new production facility at southern Russia. Taking into account a number of aspects, Adygea is considered as one of the most promising regions for investment and construction of a corrugated packaging plant. In terms of capacity, it will be comparable to the Kartontara LLC operating in Adygea, which is part of the SFT Gpoup. Estimated time frame for the implementation of the project of construction of a new SFT Group enterprise is 2022 - 2025", - the statement says with reference to Denis Belkovsky, Director of the corrugated division of the SFT Group.
The Kartontara plant has a completed production cycle, where corrugated cardboard packaging, corrugated and recycled containerboard are produced.
According to Sergei Pogodin, Executive director of Kartontara, the plant is systematically modernizing its production taking into account modern environmental standards. Next year, it is planned to allocate €4 million of investments to further modernization of the budget-forming enterprise for the region.
