Two prefeeders Fossaluzza installed at Gotek-Zheleznogorsk

The prefeeders are designed for continuous 24/7 operation. Feeding can be carried out both in the cascade mode, and by the whole packs.

During operation, the operator enters the order parameters, bale with blanks is fed to the receiving conveyor (elevator) of the automatic feeder. Next, a special pusher separates a small bundle of workpieces from the common bale and the bundle moves to the zone of operation of continuous cascade mechanism. Side eveners align the pack before creating a cascade of sheets along the central axis of the prefeeder. A transverse leaf, equipped with a trigger mechanism, rises, which makes it possible to begin the formation of a cascade of sheets when creating a cascade from the bottom.

Non-crush rollers at the end of the extensible belt allow you to regulate the process of evenly feeding sheets in a cascade into the work area and prevent their premature filling.

If the operator needs to remove sheet from cascade, the pneumatic counting mechanism is activated.

After making a bale, the receiving conveyor (elevator) is lowered, removes the remaining pallet or last sheets and loads the next bale. At the same time, the belt of the prefeeder can both be retracted and raised.

Fossaluzza STARMAGIC prefeeders are installed in line in front of the TCY press and ASAHI Flatbed die-cutter. With this installation, Gotek completed the next stage of modernization, which significantly increased the production capacity of the enterprise.
